This crescent shaped canteen is based on one found in an archaeological excavation at Crown Point, New York. British and American forces were at Crown Point during war time but it was also the site of French Fort St. Frederic built between 1734 and 1737.   32 oz .  9.5" tall.  About 9.8 ounces.  This item is food safe.  Stainless steel.   Wool shoulder strap and a leather strap to hold the wooden plug.
