The high carbon steel blade shows slight markings from hand forging, and is typical of these tools that were essential for the Pennsylvania Longhunter. The 5" blade tang is the hidden type, with two iron pins securing it to a nicely tapered handle made of genuine Curly Maple. It comes complete with a quality, vegetable tanned, fitted, leather sheath in a nice, dark brown color, with a belt loop. Overall length is 9".
