Sold as a pair; you will receive two buckles. Made of white bronze or brass including the fork & pinner. The buckle has some definitive fine carvings around the ring. Measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/8" on the outside of the ring and 1 1/8" on the inside. The original belonged to Samuel Avery, of Preston, CT, circa 1760. These are period-correct buckles. Available in brass or white bronze.
