12th Century Bliaut - Linen
Linen or raw silk. Back lacing for a snug fit. Shown in black raw silk with optional trim and wide, flowing maunches appropriate for the 12th century. Also shown in navy linen with narrow sleeves appropriate for an earlier period. Raw silk is available in natural (dye-able) and black. Belt not included.

Medieval Under Dress
Linen under dress (shift) with a slightly gathered neckline, gores for fullness, and underarm gussets. Shown with long, narrow, tapered sleeves appropriate for the 12th century. May be made with straight sleeves for earlier periods. Historically accurate construction based on all available documentation.

State modern dress size, bust measurement, and height. Available in bleached white linen or natural linen for a more common portrayal.

  Optional Pre-Wash
Your fabric can be pre-washed, dryed and ironed to shrink it if you desire. Remember that pre washing makes the garment look as if it is almost used, since slight wrinkling will remain even after ironing. Order one pre-wash for every color of fabric to be used.

Geometric design trim in complimentary colors may be added to the bliaut at the neck and sleeve edges, and the hem.

Swedish Viking or Turkish Pants
Swedish Viking pants suitable for 8th, 9th, 10th century. "Raw" noil silk in dye-able natural or black. One size fits all. Made with leg gussets, a drawstring in the waist and at the ankles. These are very big and blousy around the ankle, like harem pants, are very comfortable and perfect for hot reenacting weather! Shown with leg wraps for display only.

Swedish Viking Shirt
Linen or "raw" noil silk in dye-able natural or black. Designed from original garments. Big, loose fit. The shirt is made untrimmed so you may add your own. The shirt is unlined and the hem, neck edge and wrist edges are top stitched since these edges will be covered by your trim.

  Viking or Peasant Pants
These "raw" noil silk pants are made with a drawstring at the waist, straight legs, and leg gussets for ease of movement. Choose dye-able natural or black. One waist size fits all. Specify inseam length.
