Le Blanc, 68 pages, and 4 fouldouts. Sixteen lessons on 32 different styles of the early cravat. A facsimile reprint of the 11th edition. Written in 1828, but contains much 18th century appropriate material.

Canteen Half Moon
High quality, stainless steel canteen. The half moon shape is accurate for F&I or Rev War, looks like tin but will not rust. Replicated from British examples excavated at Ft. Ligonier, which date from 1758-1766, it features a stopper, side loops and cotton shoulder cords. The style was used extensively from the Seven Years War through the War of 1812 and later. Approximately 8" high including the spout, 4-1/2" - 5" wide and holds about 1 quart. Made of stainless steel with food safe solder joints.
This half moom shaped canteen is seen in a 1750 Hogarth print titled "The March to Finchly," seen in "Hogarth, The Complete Engravings" compliled by Joseph Burke and Colin Caldwell.
