Baldric 17th C 1630-1690's
This style of shoulder baldric is typical of the 1630-1690's for those portraying Dutch, Spanish, English or German. Fitted with a larger center buckle then with three smaller to hold the sword scabbard with the use of tension. Buckles are adjustable to fit different sized swords. Comes in Natural, Black, Brown or Ox Blood color. Quote available for fancier tooling work on the leather belting.

Breeches Leather
Soft, durable, self-tailoring, lambskin leather breeches. These are reproductions of the most commonly worn breeches in the 18th century. The waist band is lined with linen in order to minimize stretching, and the fall (if chosen) is lined with linen to minimize bulk. Constructed with both inner and outer leg seams. Your portrayal will determine if you should wear fall front or french fly. May be made rough side or smooth out. State leather color, leg closure (buckle, button, or draw string), waist measurement and button preference. Choose from copper (limited availability), brass, antique brass, or pewter buttons. Optional German Silver buttons are available on the 18th century clothing page. Breeches buckles are not included and may be purchased separately. We will send a form requesting the remaining measurements and details that are needed. Available up to waist size 48.

Breeches are shown in pale gold lamb, taupe-dyed lamb, and tan lamb skin. The last example is our tan leather rough side out, shown with brown leather buttons. Available colors vary. The pale gold very closely reproduces the smokey color of brain tanned buckskin.

Cartridge Box British

Cartridge Pouch Rev War
Revolutionary War British or colonial, 36 round cartridge box carried over the shoulder. 18 rounds on top and 18 on the bottom. Box comes with a 3" wide whitened latigo shoulder strap. The strap is adjustable from 64" to 71". It is commonly referred to as the 1777 pattern "Rawle's Pouch" because of a patent on its design by William Rawle to the British Army.

Knapsack British Style F&I
This French and Indian War era knapsack made of soft, supple, hair-on cow hide is shown in numerous paintings. It is worn on the back with the strap diagonally across the shoulder and chest. Brown cow hide with dark brown or black strap and a solid brass buckle. The sack measures approximately 15" X 29".

The first painting is a portion of a 1748 David Morier painting of the 46th, 47th, and 48th Foot. The second is an Edward Penney painting from 1764.

Knife Sheath
The sheath shown is for a knife with no hilt, as this sheath covers the handle, too. If your knife has a hilt your sheath will have ties to hold the knife in place. The second distressed, dark brown sheath shown is one of the actual sheaths used in a previous "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie. The additional photo shows a natural leather example that may be oiled for a darker finish. Provide blade measurements (up to 8 inches long) and handle measurements. For blades over 6 inches long please call for quote. Specify natural or brown leather.
