Breeches Leather
Soft, durable lamb skin leather breeches are somewhat self-tailoring. These are reproductions of the most commonly worn breeches in the 18th century. The waist band is lined with linen in order to minimize stretching, and the fall (if chosen) is lined with linen to minimize bulk. Constructed with both inner and outer leg seams. Your portrayal will determine if you should wear fall front or French fly. Leg closure may be drawstring, buttons, or buckles. May be made rough side or smooth side out. Available up to waist size 48.

State leather color, leg closure, waist measurement and button preference. Choose from copper, brass, antique brass, horn, bone, or pewter buttons. Optional German Silver buttons are available below. Breeches buckles are not included and may be purchased separately. Provide waist measurement. We will provide a form requesting additional measurements and details.

The first example is fly-front rough side out tan lam skin with brown leather buttons, the second is pale gold lamb and the third is taupe-dyed rough side out, and the fourth is tan smooth side out fall-front. Available colors vary. The pale gold very closely reproduces the smokey color of brain tanned buckskin.
