Breeches Fall Front Wool or Velvet 2nd half 18th Century
Fall front breeches gained popularity during the last quarter of the 18th century. The fall front, waistband and knee bands are lined and the balance is unlined. Available up to waist size 50.
State preference of 13oz wool, silk, cotton damask or cotton velvet; color, waist size, and button type. State your preference for knee strap closure (copper, brass or pewter buttons, drawstring, or buckles). We will provide a form requesting additional measurements and details.
Shown in rust wool with domed pewter buttons. The second example is shown in black, wool with antiqued, pewter, feather buttons, and knee buckles. The third example is tan brocade with domed, brass buttons.
Breeches buckles are not included and may be purchased separately. German Silver buttons may be purchased below.
