Frock Coat 1750's Linen or Damask
The justaucorps, a close-fitting knee-length coat which made the figure appear smooth and round, determined the stylish silhouette of gentlemen in the 18th century. This 1750's justaucorps or frock coat has flared and pleated skirts, is lined with linen and includes working pockets. The front and cuffs are reinforced with buckram. Available in cotton damask (See additional photos of brown, cream, salmon, dark red, olive and gold cotton damask available) or linen. The fabric pre-shrinking option, if desired, must be purchased separately below. Includes brass, pewter or copper buttons. Optional trim, collar or German Silver buttons may be purchased below. Lace cravat is not included and may be purchased separately above. Available up to chest size 54.
