Purveyors of fine quality, historically accurate, replica civilian clothing, military uniforms, and equipage for reenactors.
The Quartermaster General specializes in outfitting the 18th century soldier. We aspire to become your military shop and continue to increase our supply of uniform coats, breeches, waistcoats, shirts and leather gear in order to offer immediate service to you. Currently, delivery time for uniform coats is approximately a fortnight. Our clothing is generally hand finished and made under the watchful eye of artisans dedicated to giving you the best value for your money. We attend living history events as a French and Indian War or Revolutionary War sutler and focus on 18th century period custom clothing and accoutrements using only the most accurate fabrics, leathers and woods available. We use material closely matching originals while keeping the price affordable. We make our merchandise after careful study of documentation, extant garments, and furniture, resulting in items that you will be proud to own. We offer authentically reproduced clothing in any size and will replicate any period camp furniture, box or trunk that you desire. Please contact us with the details of your custom order.
If you prefer to make your own garments, we offer a complete selection of wool, linen, cotton, and silk fabrics; patterns; buttons; silk ribbon and trims. There is no minimum yardage required on the purchase of fabrics or ribbon.
